Britt-Maj Wikström has a unique and broad professional background. She is an art historian, a nurse and a teacher. As Professor at Aakershus University College, Department of Health Care Sciences, Norway and Associate Professor at the Karolinska Institute, Sweden her energy has focused on research about Arts for Health and Education. Her field of research includes the development of visual art for the good of the patient. She has also developed visual art as a pedagogical instrument
